·         This advertisement is an example of synergy which is when one product is used to sell another
·         This cross promotion positions the Audi as a super car because Iron man is a super hero.
·         The advert takes scenes from the movie and uses them to show that even heroes can get stressed and go wrong until they get into the Audi that is advertised.
·         The celebrity endorsement works in this advertisement because Robert Downey Jr is very popular in the movie Iron Man 3 people think that if Robert like the car they should.

  1. You understand the cross promotion technique. Why would this advert appeal to its target buyers? Is there more that you could identify, other than being stressed? What about the 'scenes' appeals?
